Instant Challenge ONLY Division!
NEW this year at the State Tournament - we are offering an Instant Challenge Only division, where teams will compete in three instant challenges: one task-based, one performance-based, and one hybrid challenge.
This is a GREAT option for schools/organizations interested in starting DI but not having enough time to get a Team Challenge together, for past DI teams that would like to return to a DI Tournament, and anyone looking to have a one-day experience as opposed to the entire tournament season.
Open to Elementary, Middle, and Secondary (High School) Level teams.
Cost: $150/team which includes a practice Instant Challenge packet that will be sent to you prior to the tournament to prepare your team for the big day!
A large-group orientation will take place for all teams particiapting in the IC Only Tournament that will highlight what Destination Imagination is, explain how the Instant Challenge Tournament will work, and answer any questions teams have. Time TBA - late morning.
A large-group debrief will take place for all IC Only Teams that are new to DI, to wrap-up their day and share information on how they can continue their DI journey. Time TBA - late afternoon.
All IC Only Teams are invited to stay for the Awards Ceremony - awards will be distributed to teams receiving 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place in each division: Elementary, Middle, and Secondary (HS) levels.
