REGIONAL SHOWCASE INFO
Appraisers should arrive on-time, with the following items:
1) Fun Attire! Fun Hat! (remember, no school names/logos)
2) Positive Attitude! The kids will be excited to see you!
3) Coffee / bottled beverage (we will also have water & snacks on-site)
4) A smartphone, tablet, or laptop (you'll need it to access the team "paperwork")

Appraiser Basics:
We're seeking those who have an enthusiasm for student innovation and willingness to celebrate creativity!
Appraisers
Appraisers are the volunteers that evaluate performances / team solutions at the tournaments.
Appraiser Requirements:
All Appraisers must:
- Be at least 18 Years Old, and NOT be a current High School Student
- Have access to reliable internet and a device for video web-conferencing (for Appraiser Training)
- Have an interest in evaluating student projects, and a willingness to dedicate a FULL day to volunteer at an in-person event
Tournament Volunteers
Volunteer Roles include: score runners, score room data entry, sales area, games area, tournament site assistance, etc.
Appraiser Commitment
1Online Training
Get assigned to an Appraiser Role and learn more about that role via an "at your own pace" online training course.
2Read, Read, Read!
Appraisers will receive an appraiser guide and some helpful rubrics that they should fully read + understand prior to tournametn day!
3The Big Day
On Tournament Day, appraisers will arrive two hours before the teams for on-site training, Q+A time, and sample scoring before watching teams.
